Volunteer

We have many volunteer opportunities at our center and some that can be done from home. If you are interested in volunteering or networking with us, please call our Assistant Director, Maura at 951-699-9808 (center) or our Executive Director, Jennifer Cartell at 951-551-5428 (cellular). We especially need volunteer RN's with a current license, volunteer receptionists and counselors, fundraising auxiliary members, volunteer administrative assistants, event workers and community outreach volunteers. JOIN THE MATCHING GRANT LIFE TEAM?

Birth Choice has been given a tremendous financial development opportunity by a foundation that will allow us to give teens and women a chance to give their babies life. Your donation of $1,000 (pledged at $85.00 per month or $1000 one time) will help us offer the choice of life to a woman who feels forced into deciding to terminate her pregnancy because of financial, educational, medical or social concerns. We can help her make a decision for life, either for raising her baby or seeking adoption assistance with your financial support. JOIN THE LIFE TEAM NOW AND SHOW A WOMAN YOU CARE ABOUT HER AND UNBORN CHILD. The view we will show them on the ultrasound screen will make all the difference in her choice for her future and for that of her baby. Give to the Life Fund because no one wants to have an abortion. Mentoring of Kids 4th-8th Grades

Birth Choice of Temecula is now collaborating with Christian Mentors of Hemet to provide a Mentoring Program for children grades 4-8. This program will help reduce high risk behaviors such as drug and alcohol abuse, teen sexual activity and socially unacceptable or criminal behavior that might reduce attendance in school and reduce their overall GPA. We will use FBI screened, adult mentors who are able to serve as role models for your child and with your written permission, we will mentor them one hour per week in a public setting so they can reach their true potential. Need help with your child or know of a child that could use mentoring? Please tell their parent or legal guardian about this program or have them visit the ChristianMentors.Org website (see Become a Mentor or Find a Mentor as Applicable).

TIME AND TALENT:

There are many opportunities to serve at Birth Choice of Temecula. Many different talents are needed, including: counselors, receptionists, administrative assistants, church liaisons, computer techs, housekeepers, delivery people, community event team members, pro-life speakers and licensed RN's with time to devote to saving lives with limited ultrasound (we'll train you. Ways you may choose to support us financially :

Designate your United Way pledge to Birth Choice of Temecula . Birth Choice of Temecula is not yet a United Way agency. However, many friends choose to designate their donations directly to our center, thus insuring their funds go to the organization of their choice. To designate Birth Choice of Temecula to receive your funds, you must do the following:

A. Request a Donor Choice Form from your coordinator.

B. Under the section titled, “Specific Care,” write in Birth Choice of Temecula, Enterprise Circle West #4, Temecula, CA 92590

C. Then attach the Donor Choice form to your pledge form.

Golf Tournament, Friday October 3, 2008 Menifee Lakes

Come join us to help coordinate a charity golf tournament for Birth Choice of Temecula. Game day will require some experienced golfers, planners and sponsorship volunteers. Baby Formula

Birth Choice of Temecula, a non-profit 501 C 3 faith-based ministry and pregnancy resource center is in need of all types of infant formula donations to provide help to members our community. If you have unexpired, unopened formula to donate, please call or visit the center at 951-699-9808 between 10:00-3:00 Monday through Thursday.

Formula can also be dropped off at Birth Choice of Temecula, 27488 Enterprise Circle West, #4, Temecula, CA 92590 (we are located West of Jefferson Rd off Winchester, next to Calvary Chapel Temecula.

Conduct a Baby Bottle Boomerang

Conduct a baby bottle boomerang with your service organization, business, school, neighborhood, or church group and you will greatly help Birth Choice of Temecula. The cash, change and checks you put in these bottles will help pay for operational expenses to keep the center open as well as helping us advance to a medical practice –providing life-saving ultrasound exams. You can also take one home for your family to fill. Community service hours are offered for anyone who help distribute these in town.
